Steve Madeira is Founder and Managing Principal of Boston Financial Partners®. He has served the needs of individuals, families and small businesses seeking personalized financial solutions and custom asset management strategies for over 25 years. Steve focuses on partnering with clients that are in or nearing retirement to develop tailored, tax efficient asset management and income strategies that align with their life’s vision.


Steve earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University in Waltham, MA in 1993 before pursuing his career in the financial services industry. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation through the American College of Financial Services®. The ChFC® is one of the most robust and respected credentials for financial planning professionals. It is a specialized program that covers retirement planning, wealth management, financial planning, risk management, and more. He also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation which is a professional financial planning designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning. The CRPC® program enables experienced advisors, who are focused on retirement planning for individuals, define a “road map to retirement.” There is a focus on clients’ pre- and post-retirement needs, as well as issues related to asset management and estate planning. Finally, Steve earned the CLU® designation through the American College of Financial Services®. This is a course of study which provides financial advisors with a strong foundation on holistic insurance and risk planning.


Steve holds the following registrations & licenses:
FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative),
FINRA Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam),
FINRA Series 24 (General Securities Principal),
Life, Accident and Health Insurance license.

Amy Ouellet

Amy joined Boston Financial Partners in 2015. She assists with client outreach and office operations. She earned her B.A. and M.Ed. from Boston College and brings to the position her prior experience as a teacher and program coordinator in a variety of educational settings. Amy enjoys the dynamic environment in the office, but most especially appreciates the opportunity to connect with clients.
